This piece originates from the “LOOMs” chapter of THE AGE OF DIGITAL / ANALOGUE, with source material captured at Mill No. 3, New Lanark Mills in Scotland. Centred on the timeworn looms — machines deeply inscribed with industrial memory — the work reconfigures their images and sounds into a study of time: its cycles, repetitions, overlaps, and reversals.

Rather than treating these machines as remnants of a vanished industrial past, the work approaches them as resonant bodies: carriers of rhythm, labour, memory, and technological transition. Through a contemporary audiovisual language, the mechanical pulse of the loom is transformed into an encounter between fading analogue technologies and the accelerated tempo of the digital era.
