Lu Sisi is a visual/sound artist originally from Inner Mongolia, now living in London. Both commercially, his work spans multiple disciplines – live performance, motion graphics, film, music composition and production, sound design, and installation art.

In his work, Lu Sisi’s particular passion is the theme of Heritage – connecting the past and the present. His most recent work explores the relationship between man, machine and landscape in the UK, and received critical acclaim as well as awards from Sky Arts and New York Festival.

A creative problem-solver, Lu Sisi is well acclimatised to working in fast-paced environments – whetherindependently or in collaboration – with commissions from clients such as Jaguar Land Rover, SKY, BBC, MINI, MAX&Co., Mercedes-Benz.

  • 2013-2016 The Age of Digital / Analogue | Filmed in a range of locations across Scotland and England, capturing machinery and landscape. Filming partners include, Jaguar Factory, Sky TV, National Museum Of Scotland, The Falkirk Wheel, Torness Nuclear Power Station Torness Power Station, New Lanark World Heritage Site, The Glasgow School of Art, Kempton Steam Museum, Isle of Skye, Snowdonia). The work is a live audio visual performance, it's mix original cinematic visuals with original music - inspired, and in part made form the sounds of the machines live on stage. The work will be presented at Sonica 2015 in Glasgow this coming November. The project awarded a £30k Sky Academy Arts Scholarship and £9.2k Grant of Arts Funding from Arts Council to develop the work and have had a successful crowd funding campaign. UK
